In lieu of this week's blog post, I'd love for you to spend the same amount of time you'd usually spend writing your blog on the following website: _
www.freerice.com is a site that is devoted to donating rice to the hungry. What do you have to do to contribute to this worthy cause? Answer some questions about synonyms. I'd love for you to set your own goal for this week, but I think if we all plan to donate 200 grains of rice each, we'd make a great collective effort as a whole. How will I know if you've completed this week's blog task or not? To be honest, I won't! I'm trusting in you as a responsible citizen of our school community and the world that you want to do something to help others who are less fortunate than yourself. Take a moment and feel good about how you've spent your time on the blog this week! You've spent the last two weeks researching an artist for ELA class. In this week's blog post, choose one of your artist's poems/songs that you feel is his/her most influential work. Be sure to include the title and lyrics/poem within your post along with an explanation of why you chose this piece. How is it influential? Who has its words impacted and in what ways?
