What are you currently reading? Tell me about it in 100 words or more. Give a brief summary of the book, but don't spoil any of the important parts! Also, be sure to include the TAG (title, author, and genre), how long you've been reading it, and what you think of it so far.

Take the quiz at the link below to find out what god or goddess you are. Take the quiz here: http://www.wingedsandals.com/arts/wingedsandals/make_do/QUIZ/default.htm. Once you've discovered your Greek god/goddess secret identity, return to the blog and write a post that does the following:
We all know that Ponyboy Curtis is a smart boy who sometimes doesn't use his head. He has been through a lot in this novel and has hopefully learned from his (and others') experiences. For your next blog entry, identify one lesson you believe Ponyboy has learned throughout the book. Explain how he learned this lesson and why you think this will matter to him in the future. You might even include more than one lesson and/or predictions about what his future holds (yes, even after the novel has ended). Remember, your blog entry should be at least 100 words long. In order to get full credit, you need to thoroughly proofread your entry before submitting it for approval. Your blog entry is due by your ELA class time on Friday. Can't get enough of The Outsiders? Check out this YouTube video, which is narrated by S.E. Hinton, about the book and the movie too: |
