For this week's blog post (due November 30th), you need to respond to at least two other students' blog entries from last week. Go to last week's blog post in order to do this and click on "comments." You can then read what your classmates wrote last week. Your response needs to be at least four sentences or more in length and directly respond to what your classmate has previously written. What do you think about your fellow student's idea of a "perfect" world? Are there any flaws? Any ideas you hadn't considered? Any questions you have? Be sure to proofread your response prior to clicking submit. Happy blogging!

Be on the lookout for our vocabulary words as you read, watch tv, listen to the news, etc. Post where it was used (TAG) and in what context (sentence it was used in) here on our blog. This will be an ongoing blog for the whole year, so no due date for this post. How many vocabulary words can you find?
In lieu of this week's blog post, click on the vocabulary page above and study your vocabulary words. You should spend the same amount of time studying your vocabulary words that you would have spent writing your blog this week.
For this week's blog post, tell me what book you are reading for literature circles. What was it about this book that made it one of your top picks? Have you read anything like it before? Based on what you've read so far this week, state a prediction within your blog post. Be sure to explain why this prediction makes sense (i.e. what evidence do you have that it may come true so far).
