The book I am reading is called the Mark of Athena written by Rick Riordan. It is a fantasy book about Greek Mythology, gods, etc. In the series these are the same themes for those books too. There are several main characters names. Their names are Leo, Hazel, Frank, Piper, Jason, Percy, and Annabeth. If the main characters all wrote memoirs, it would be about their previous battles, adventures, or quests because they all have done these things. The possible lessons learned are be careful, never fight this type of monster with this king of sword, or never take advice from people you don’t trust because in the books all of these things have happened before to each of them. This book series is very interesting. I like to read them because each character is struggling with his/her journey. So everybody’s lesson or theme is different.

The main character in the book I just recently finished is Michael Jordan. If my main character wrote a memoir it would be about his baseball life, even though he was the best NBA basketball player. The "so what" would be to keep trying even if your not good keep trying so you can get better. He would say that even in his baseball career he struggled. But he kept trying. Despite what people thought of him. He would stay after in the stadium after a game many times. He would think to himself that he couldn't do it. So he would come back the next game trying harder than the last time. Michael would practice when the rest of the team was resting. He would practice batting the are where he needed the most help. The name of this book is Rebound the Odyssey of Michael Jordan by Bob Greene and it is a biography.

The book I am reading is Mistborn by Brandon Sanderson and it is a fantasy book. The main character in this book is named Vin. If Vin wrote a memoir it would be about the fight she had with a fellow mistborn in order to keep the man and her home safe. She fought and even though she got hurt she didn’t give up and didn’t call for help because she knew if she did she would give the other mistborn a chance to kill Elend (the man she loves) and then let his master take over the city because his death would destroy her. The “So What” would be to never give up on the people that are important to you and you should always fight for them no matter what happens. Vin kept fighting to protect even though she got several scratches and a knife plunged into her chest and shoulder.

I just recently finished the book “See You At Harry’s” by Jo Knowles. I that book the main character is a girl named Fern. This book is realistic fiction. If Fern were to write a memoir it would be about how one day her innocent little brother Charlie dies because of an accident that happened the day before. Fern is heartbroken and takes the blame for the accident so then she feels very very guilty. Also it would be about her and her family have to overcome their sadness and make the best of what they have. A lesson that could be learned is that you should never take loved ones for granted even though they can be annoying at times.

The book I recently finished is Racing In The Rain by Garth Stein and this book is realistic fiction. The main character is Enzo, he is a dog. If enzo wrote a memoir it would be about Eve that has cancer and is recently injured. The lesson learned or the so what would be you should really love everything that you have and be grateful. This would be like this because Something happens to Eve and it breaks the family apart and its hard to see each other now.

I recently read a book called “Heat” by Mike Lupica. The genre of the book is realistic fiction. The main character is Michael Arroyo. I think his memoir would be about the moment that his hero El Grande goes to his little league baseball game personally, and hands him his birth certificate, because he needs it to play in the 12 and under league. The “so what” would be that all dreams are possible no matter the odds against it. I think this would be his so what because his dream was to play in the little league championship game in Williamsburg Pennsylvania. This dream probably seemed impossible to him because one coach didn’t believe he was 12 years old because he was way too good. That coach wrote a letter to the league commissioner saying Michael shouldn’t be allowed to play until he could find his birth certificate. The problem was that his birth certificate was all the way back in Panama and he didn’t have any parents to help him find it. But eventually his best friend somehow contacted El Grande, a Major League all-star and El Grande somehow got Michael’s birth certificate.

The book I finished reading was Out Of My Mind, it's by Sharon M. Draper. The genre is realistic fiction. The main character is Melody. Her memoir would be about her 5th grade year. She can't walk or talk, she got on a team to compete to see which school would get the most questions right. The questions were about music, art, math, ELA, social studies, and other subjects. The 'so what' is even though you can't do something like talking doesn't mean you are not smart. Melody was a smart girl just couldn't do something. That's what my book was about and what the 'so what' was.

In the book, Famous Last Words, the protagonist is Samantha D’Angelo. If she were to write a memoir, it would be about the time when she was in a car ride with AJ after seeing his band play. They are in AJ’s car about to leave when he gives her a gift. It is a little box. Inside the box are earrings. They are little, silver armadillo earrings. Later that night, when AJ is dropping Sam off t her house, they kiss. She had liked AJ for a while, but she just didn’t know it. The so what would be that she had thought she had liked another boy when he ended up being a total jerk and he took her great ideas. The person who was right for her literally was right in front of her all along. Literally. He had a desk across from hers at their work. This book is realistic fiction.

The book I am reading now is See You at Harry’s by Jo Knowles and it is realistic fiction. The main character’s name is Fern and she just entered middle school. If Fern wrote a memoir, it would probably be about her little brother, Charlie dying when he was only three. The lesson learned would be that you should be responsible because Fern’s family owns a restaurant and they all go there everyday after school. Her sister, Sara, and dad were working so they couldn’t watch Charlie and Holden was with his friend. Her mom was upstairs meditating, which she does a lot. Fern wanted Charlie to stop bugging her and just do her homework, but no one else could watch him. So, he got mad that she wasn’t paying attention to him, ran into the parking lot and got hit by a car. Everyone in the family blames themselves for the accident, but mostly Fern.

The title of the book that I recently finished is the “Rule of Three” by Eric Walters. The genre of this book is dystopian, as well as possibly realistic fiction. It’s very difficult to have these two genres in the same book, but I chose them because the main idea of this book is that there’s a lasting power outage and everything turns into chaos. The protagonist of this novel is Adam, a sixteen year old boy.

I recently finished a book called Ten miles past normal. It is a realistic fiction book. The author is Frances O'Roak Dowell. The main character in this book is a girl named Janie. If Janie wrote a memoir I think it would be about her disliking living on a farm. Also it would probualy be how she is losing a lot of her friends because she is living on a Farm. For example Janie's friends have been calling her names and being rude to her because they don't like how she smells because she smells like animals and smells like a farm and how her friends are being mean because she has not had a lot of time to hang out with them because she is to busy feeding the animals etc. It takes a lot of responsibility to live on a farm. I think Janie's memoir would be about that if she had one. I like her lesson learned would be that you should be happy with what you have. I think that would be her lesson learned because she is not happy with living on a farm and thinks it's wierd. However, there are a lot of people that have a lot less then she has. So she should be happy with what she has.

The book that I most recently finished reading was a realistic fiction book called Let it Snow, by three authors, John Green, Maureen Johnson, and Lauren Myracle. It also had three important main characters, but one of them is Jubilee. If she wrote a memoir it would most likely be about when her parents were arrested in a riot over Christmas decorations. This led to a series of events in which she was on a train to her grandparents house when it crashed in Gracetown during a winter storm. The "so what" or lesson learned was that even the worst of circumstances can turn out to be great new beginnings. This is becaus Jubilee was facing tough times before she got on the train, and it only got worse from there, but (not to spoil anything), things turn out better than they were before and she realizes everything isn't so bad after all.

This week I am continuing to read, Rain, Reign, by Ann M. Martin. This is so far one of my favorite books I have read. I am enjoying this book because I love how Rose is telling the story from her perspective. I also enjoy this book because I like how whenever there is a word with homonyms they are written down next tot the word. The protagonist in the book is named Rose. If Rose wrote a memoir, it would defiantly be about her love of homonyms and rules. It would also have her love for her dog, Rain. She gave her dog the name Rain because the word rain homonyms. I think the lesson learned to Rose would be everybody makes mistakes. I believe this would be a good lesson learned for Rose because she always corrects somebody if they are wrong, but everyone makes mistakes, even Rose herself. Overall, Rain, Reign, is so far one of my favorite books.

I am reading The Last Shot by John Fienstein. The protagonist in my book is a boy named Steve. If my main character wrote a memoir it would be about winning the writing contest he enters and getting to write about some of the biggest sports games in the US. The lesson learned would be that you can accomplish anything you put your mind to because he wanted to win that contest and he put his mind to it and won. I have already read one of the latter books n the seires called Change-Up. This series genre is mystery so it makes you think like your Stevie and try to figure out the solution. So in all of these books Steve would be able to write memoirs just about the mystery he has to solve. This is one of the best mystery books I have ever read.

The book I am currently reading is Warriors, Fading Echoes, by Erin Hunter. This book is a fantasy, the main character is Dovepaw and in this book she struggles to face the truth. That she, Lionblaze, and Jayfeather have a secret, they are the three. But one thing ties them all together, they are trying to find out what ''the three'' means. I think that Dovepaw would have her memoir about finding out who she really is because in this book she tries to find herself. The lesson learned in this story would be trust no one, for example even though Breezepelt, an unworthy warrior is kin to Dovepaw he still seeks revenge on all those related to Leafpool. The reason for this is because Breezepelt is sick of being shunned by his clanmates for his father's unloyalty to his clan.

Right now I am almost done reading Looking For Alaska by John Green. One of the genres of the novel is contemporary. The protagonist is named Miles, or as his friends call him Pudge. He came from Florida to go to Alabama for privet school and he is in love with one friend, Alaska. If Pudge wrote a memoir, it would be about the prank he pulled with his friends. The lesson learned is to do fun things but not to get in trouble. In the novel, there were three parts to the prank. There are two people who do the main part of the prank, two people who keep track and watch over, and two who make the distraction. The main character was the distraction. So if he gets caught or anyone else, then they would get expelled and won't get the scholarship that they wanted. Over all the novel is good

The book that I am reading is called El Deafo the author is Cece Bell and the genre is realistic fiction. The main character is Cece and cece is deaf. If cece write a memoir it would be about how she made friends even though she was deaf and how she struggled and how she succeeded. the “so what” of the story would be that even though things may push you down keep getting up, in other words even though that something was pushing her down(her embarrassing hearing aids) keep getting back up( her meeting new friends that don’t care that she has hearing aids. My prediction is that she meets new friends and they don’t care that she has hearing aids and that they don’t care that they might have too repeat a word just so she can hear them better because they are her try friends and they would not do that to her. Over all I really like this book and I definitely recommend it to people who like this kind of things.

Well, in the last book I read (Life in Motion by Mistey Copeland) the main character was Mistey because it is an autobiography. If she were to write a memoir, I think it would be about one of her first performances with the ABT (American Ballet Theatre) because that is a really big deal and life changing. With her story, getting into a huge company like that is so inspiring and amazing. The "so what" or lesson would be that no matter what your story is or how much you have been through, something good will come out of it and you could become something you never thought you could be.

This week, I am reading The Selection by Keira Cass and it’s dystopian. The Selection is about thirty-five girls from the nation of Illéa who get chosen to compete in a competition call The Selection to become the future Queen of Illéa. America Singer is the main character who gets chosen to be in The Selection. If she wrote a memoir, it would probably be about her experience in The Selection and her relationship with Prince Maxon, which is unlike the other girls’ relationships with him. Her lesson learned would either be “the inside of a person is what matters, not the outside” or “some things are better than they seem”. The first one is because America only sees Maxon on TV as the formal, shallow guy that doesn’t have feelings, but once she gets to know him, she realizes that he isn’t that kind of person, and she starts to like him. The other lesson is because she goes to the palace thinking she would have the worst experience ever because her mother forced her to enter The Selection, but she starts to like it at the palace because she makes a friend named Marlee, and her maids are really nice to her and don’t treat her like a princess, which is the way America wants it. Also, because she likes Maxon and doesn’t want to leave The Selection, so her family can get paid every week that she is in The Selection because she is poor back home.

The book I am currently reading is “Torn” by David Massey and the genre is realistic fiction. The main character or protagonist in the book is Private Ellie Nielson. She is a medic in the British army stationed in Afghanistan. The book focuses on her life in the army while based there and her growing friendship with a captured Afghan youth named Husna. If Ellie were to write a memoir, it would probably be about her combat experience and her friendship with Husna. First, it would be about her unit capturing him in an Afghan village where they were searching for insurgents. Then she would go on to describe about her getting Husna to tell her about the interworking of the Taiban. This information leads to a stash of Taiban weapons. Finally, how she and Husna become friends.

The book I am reading is The Zodiac by Stan Lee, yes, that famous comic-book writer. The genre is realistic fiction. The main character is Steven. If he were to write a memoir, it would be about him absorbing super-powers from a lab under a museum in China. The "so what" or "lesson learned" is that you should not assume anything until it has happened.

The book I currently just finished is The Big Miss, by Hank Haney. The main character or protagonist is Hank Haney because the book is all about his 6 years coaching Tiger Woods. If Hank Haney wrote his own memoir it would be about his experience about coaching Tiger Woods and the bond they created over the six years Hank Haney coached Tiger Woods. The "so what" of The Big Miss is it is okay to mess up some times. I think this because even though Tiger was recognized as the greatest golfer as all time while in his prime he still hit bad shots or hooked them out of bounds or even missed the cut he still went to practice and worked hard to fix his mistakes. I would say this is an autobiography because the book is all about Hank Haney's experience coaching Tiger Woods for a little over six years. I would recommend this book who wants to learn or likes golf a lot or any one who wants to learn about Tiger Woods.

The main character in a book that i am almost finished with is Alexis. If my main character were to write a memior it would be about, how she found a body in the woods. The "so what" would be how she found out about other girls in the woods being strangled to death, but she thinks its a serial killer and no one believes her. No one believes her because all of the victims have nothing in common, one a rich girl, and the other a homeless girl. The lesson she learned is that, if you want something done you have to do it yourself. The name of this book is, "The body in the woods," by April Henry, the genre is realistic fiction.

In realistic-fiction story The Fault in Our Stars by John Green, sixteen year old Hazel Grace Lancaster is living life with stage four cancer. If she were to write a memoir, it would be about losing her boyfriend Augustus Waters to cancer. It would focus on her short time with him and the journeys they went on. She would mention both the good and bad times spent while dealing with their illnesses. Hazel would talk about how selfless Augustus was by using his last wish to take her to Amsterdam in order to get the answers to the questions she had for her favorite author. That trip brought them closer than they ever had been. She would also talk about how their illnesses got in the way of their relationship, by keeping them in the hospital and not being able to see each other. The most important thing that Hazel would mention in her memoir is how Augustus changed her world for the better. Hazel used to be cooped-up in the house and would just watch TV marathons all day. Augustus made Hazel see the beauty in the world again and made her feel whole. The lesson to be learned through her memoir is to never take life for granted. People need to appreciate every day they are given on Earth because no one ever will know when exactly their time on Earth will be over.

A book I recently finished is "The Boy in the Stripped Pajamas" by John Boyne. It is a historical fiction book that takes place during World War two. The main character is a boy named Bruno. His father is a nazi soldier, who is given a promotion and they have to move. Bruno meets a boy name shmuel, who is a jewish prisoner. If Bruno wrote a memoir, it would be about meeting Shmuel. The "so what?" would be to be grateful for what you have, because Shmuel doesn't have a lot. He doesn't really have a family, but Bruno is rich, and he has a house and a family.

I read the book Diary of a Wimpy Kid.By Jeff Kinney main character is the boy which have zero control, naver want to do his homework or read book. All the time he wants to play video games with his brother. If he wrote a memoir I think its will be about a road trip. Its about his famiy when they went to the a road trip and it was worst trip ever because they didnt have idea whre they going and evryone from this family wants take there all stuff if they need or no. For example the main characters brother wants take his drums to road trip.Take a video games totalit was too much stuff then they didnt have a space to sit. And they just fallov the journal about a trip. When they go to those places it wasnt loks like how is shows in journal and they go to another places where is tells a journal it was same think. When they came back from trip family learn they lesson if you going some where first check where you going.

The book I most recently finished is Icefire by Chris D'lacy. The protagonist of the book is David Rain. If he was to write a memoir he would probably write about his stay with the Pennykettles and also about the clay dragons and about the fight against the antagonist Gwilanna. One lesson learned is not to trust someone you don't know. The genre of the book is fantasy and the clay dragons are the reason why this book is fantasy. David Rain could write about how he is a tenant for Elizabeth Pennykettle and she makes clay dragons. Also he could write about the dragon Elizabeth Pennykettle made for him that he named Gadzooks. Another thing he could write about is Elizabeth Pennykettles daughter Lucy and how Lucy is obsessed with squirrels. This gives a slight explanation of the book that I most recently finished which is the book Icefire by Chris D'lacy.

The book I’m reading is called Lucas by Kevin Brooks. It is realistic fiction. The main character of the book is Caitlin. If Caitlin wrote a memoir, it would be about the day she met Lucas because she fell in love with him the second they met. Also if she hadn’t met Lucas, She wouldn’t have ended up almost killed and everyone wouldn’t have turned on Lucas and wanted to kill him. The “so what” of this book is that some things should be left alone because in the book, if Caitlin hadn’t gone looking for Lucas, then they would never had met and the town wouldn’t have turned on Lucas. This “so what” is very relatable because I’m sure everyone has made a mistake that would come back to them eventually. Even though I haven’t finished the book, it was easy to find the “so what” because it was the biggest lesson in the book.

Recently, I finished reading Autumn Falls by Bella Thorne. This fantasy book is loosely based on events in the author's life. In it, Autumn, the main character, struggles to fit in at her new school after moving because of the death of a loved one. If she wrote a memoir, it would when she discovered that the journal she was left could grant wishes. The "So What?" or lesson learned of her memoir would be to be careful what you wished for. A bully at school taunted and tortured Autumn, so in return, she wished that the bully would get a taste of their own medicine. The journal carried this out by causing the bully to get severely, and possibly fatally, injured in a car crash. Autumn learns that it is important to come to terms with the way things really are, instead of wishing her way out of trouble.

The book I am reading is Friends for Life by Andrew Norriss, the genre of the book is realistic fiction. The main character is a boy named Francis Meredith. If Francis wrote a memoir it may be about how he is interested in different things than other people and how at first he didn’t really have any friends but then realized that some people had the same hobbies. Francis might have written about how he can see ghosts and meets this one ghost named Jessica and how she helped him. The so what or lesson learned in this book would be the being different is a good thing because Francis has different hobbies than everyone else and he gets picked on for it. So he tries to change himself into a regular boring person but he soon realizes that as long as he is happy about whom he is what people think doesn’t matter.

A book I recently finished is a Historical Fiction novel, Moon Over Manifest by Clare Vanderpool. It takes place during the Great Depression, but is not entirely focused on that. The protagonist, Abilene Tucker, gets sent to her father’s old town when he can’t take care of her during the summer because of a new job. She learns town secrets with the help of some new friend, and starts to unravel her father’s story. Moon Over Manifest is almost half in flashbacks of her dad’s past when she figures it out story by story. I would say the lesson learned in this book is to face the truth, and go with what you believe in. Abilene’s memoir would be about her summer in Manifest. Her summer there is really the whole book and the biggest event in her life so far. I would recommend this book mostly to people who like historical fiction.

The last book I most recently finished was the first Kingdom Keepers book. The Kingdom Keepers books are written by Ridley Pearson, and there are 7 books in the series, and the genre of this book series in fantasy. The protagonist, or main character, could really be any of the five Disney Hosts- Finn, WIlla, Philby, Charlene or Maybeck. The book is written so some chapters are in a different character’s point of view. Still, the first book is mainly in Finn’s point of view. So, if Finn had written a memoir just after the first book, it would probably be about his first encounter with Maleficent and the cold, icy feeling that he had when she approached him- wherever he was. The "so what" would be that first moment Finn and the other Disney Hosts and heard, seen, and felt Maleficent. The lesson that could also be learned from this is that not all people in the world are good, because the OverTakers, the Disney villains, are trying to make the Disney parks a miserable place to be.

The last book I finished reading was "Who was Stan Lee?" by Geoff Edgers, and the book is biography. The main character of this novel is Stan Lee (The famous writer who made Marvel). This biography is about how Stan Lee life from his birth to the present. It talks about how Stan made the comic book company Marvel and how he is still working for Marvel at the age of ninety-two. This biography also shows how hard Stan Lee worked his whole life. If Stan wrote a memoir it would be about how his company was going down hill because people thought it was bad for children to read comic books with so much violence. He would also write in his memoir how he got Marvel back on top. The "so what" or the "lesson learned' would be that you can conquer anything if you work hard at it. Another one is that if you love something so much why stop doing it if you can still do it. These are the "so whats" because this is what Stan did throughout the book.He is ninety-two and he is still working for Marvel. When Marvel's sells went down he didn't quit,he worked hard to get the company back to the top. I still can't believe Stan is ninety-two and he is still working for Marvel!

The book I'm reading is Percy Jackson and the Lightning Thief by Rick Riordan. The genre of this book is fantasy because there is a lot of Greek gods and myths in this book. The main character is Percy Jackson. If he wrote a memoir it would either be about that he is a demigod which is half human and half God. It might also be about how the Greek Gods hate him. The so what of the first one is that he has really cool powers and can control water. The lesson learned for the second one is don't make the gods angry and he you do try to fix it as soon as possible.

The book that I am currently reading now is called "Gym Candy" written by Carl Deuker. This is a realistic fiction book about a teenager named Mick Johnson, who is a high school football star and wants it to stay that way. So, he starts taking steroids and working out vigorously to get bigger and stronger. Football and working out have taken free time away from him with his friends. He has to choose Friends or Football and Steroids. If Mick wrote a memoir, his would be about him messing up on the final play of a crucial game against a rival, losing his team the football game. One lesson Mick could learn from his memoir is if you mess up, pick yourself up and focus every day on getting it right next time. This lesson fits Mick’s memoir because he made excuses to not getting the touchdown run and then was upset and depressed about it. Then, Mick decided to work hard every day to make sure he didn’t make the same mistake.

In my free reading book Quaking by Anne Brasher the main character Matt is the protagonist. If she wrote a memoir it would be about her moving in with her third cousin Sarah, and she soon realizes that she is not as bad as she is making her out to be. The two of them become close friends and not just roommates. The book is kind of like Matt’s own memoir. The so what would be “don’t judge a book by its cover”, because when Matt first moves in with Sarah she thinks that she is a perfect quaker person who is to nice to everyone but once Matt gets to know her she finds out that she is not that bad. The genre of this book is realistic fiction

For my independent reading book, I’m reading Stupid Fast by Geoff Herbach. The protagonist is Felton Reinstein who over this past summer became “stupid fast.” If Felton wrote a memoir, it would be about the summer he turned “stupid fast.” The saying of the book is “the summer I went from a joke to a jock” so that’s a line that hooked me into this book. The “So what” of this realistic fiction book is, to never take things for granted. This is the so what because in the book, because he’s fast he just walks into track meets and football games like he’s automatically won. This comes back to bite him in a track meet, where he was called for two false-starts which caused him to be disqualified from the contest.

For the blog this week, I am choosing the book The Outsiders. In The Outsiders, the protagonist/ main character is Ponyboy. If my main character wrote a memoir, it would be all about his experiences in the book. For example, at the end of the book, Pony has to write a theme (memoir) and he is writing about everything that happened in it. The book started and ended in the same lines. These lines were, “ When I stepped outside into the bright sunlight from the darkness of the movie house, I only had two things on my mind: Paul Newman, and a ride home.” I think in The Outsiders, the lesson would be to stick together and do not give up. This is the lesson because in the beginning, Pony was being beat by the socs but then the greasers came and helped him out. Also, after Johnny killed Bob, Dally gave Pony and Johnny 50 dollars, a gun, a location to go, and advice. The Outsiders is by S.E. Hinton and is young adult fiction.

The book I have been reading for the last week is Catalyst by Laurie Halse Anderson. It is realistic fiction and the main characters name (or protagonists) name is Kate Malone. She is a preacher’s daughter and her enemy just moved in because a fire. This event would defiantly be her memoir. It’s about an event in her life that she will never forget. I think that she learned to let go. She was so organized before, but after Teri (her enemy) moves in, she has to learn to not be so controlling and to take risks. She also learns to have empathy for others. All she cared about was getting into MIT before, but after Teri’s 2 year old brother died she learned that she wasn’t the only thing that mattered. Kate Malone learned to have fun and to be empathetic. That was my reading book for this week.

I recently read a book called Fractured by: Teri Terry. It’s a dystopian novel and it is the second book of the Slated trilogy. In this novel the protagonist is a girl named Kayla. If Kayla were to write a memoir I bet it would be about her finding out who she really was and who she is now and wants to be from all her missing memories and personalities that were supposed to be erased when she was slated. Since she has been slated she now has to figure out whom she can really trust and whom she can’t. That is what I think Kayla would write about if she wrote a memoir. In this book the “so what” or “lesson learned” is to always be careful who you can trust because they might not be who you think they are no matter how much you want them too.

The book I read was The Kill Order written by James Dashner and it is dystopian literature. The protagonist is Mark, it could also be Trina or Alec but the most amin of them is probably Mark. If Mark wrote a memoir it would probably be about (spoiler alert) when the solar flares hit and how it affected him. Then it would go on to tell how they barely survived in the sewers. After that it would talk about how they survived the after radiation and then settled in a town. Then how after a year of (normal activity) all of a sudden burgs (giant flying warships) came and attacked his village with darts with the virus, and how everything changed after that again. The lesson learned in that would be that if man-kind thinks it's ready for something it will still have to make sure it is because it might not be. The title of the memoir I think could be something cool like The Day the Earth Fell.

The book I am currently reading is an exciting fictional book called ''The Spiderwick Chronicles'' by Tony DiTerlizzi and Holly Black. There are three main protoganists in this book (series), but the most major one is Simon. If Simon were to write a memoir, it would be about when his siblings Mallory and Jared pulled him up an old dumbwaiter they found in their home and it let Simon up to a secret room with no doors. In this room he found something small that would lead up to something big. The ''so what'' or ''lesson learned'' in this story so far would be to never judge someone too quickly because even though what someone is claiming seems impossible, it may be very, very true.

The book I am currently reading is called The Maze Runner by James Dashner. It is science fiction and the protagonist in this story is Thomas. Thomas actually has no memory of his life, not even his last name. He gets feelings of familiarity at random times for certain things and people but has no full memories. In the Glade so far, I would say if Thomas had to write a memoir with the limited amount of memories he had, he would write it about staying in the maze all night and fighting off and killing 5 grievers. The "so what" of this piece would be that Thomas and Minoho were the first people to ever survive in the Maze all night and that Thomas saved Alby's life even after he got stung by the griever and he has to go through the changing. Also the lesson he learned is that following the rules of the Glade is important or he could die as a consequence and he also learned that he was born to be a Runner and the council has voted him to become one after being in the Glade for only a week.

The so what is also that bravery can get you very far in life but overconfidence can take away everything you have worked to accomplish in just a matter of seconds.

The book I am currently reading is The Son of Neptune written by Rick Riordan and this book is a fantasy novel. The main characters of this book are Percy, Hazel and Frank but, in the whole series there is Percy, Hazel, Frank, Leo, Jason, Piper and Annabeth. If these character were to write a memoir it would b about the quest, adventures, battles, or even the experience of learning that they are related to a god (because when the find out, it hits them like a tidal wave with monsters hunting them and their powers start showing up). The “so what” of their memoirs would most likely be anything is possible or trust your instincts because for them anything really is possible, since they all usually start off as delinquents and then crazy things happen like monsters showing up and attacking them or magic powers show up like fire growing their palm or them being able to breath underwater for 10 minutes.

This week I’m reading the book The Lost Hero by Rick Rioradan a top selling fantasy book. There are three main characters Jason, Piper, and Leo. If they were to write a memoir they would probably write it about how Dylan turned into a storm spirit otherwise known as ventus and how they got taken to camp half blood. Also they could write about the curse and how a camper went missing and Jason’s amnesia ties in with the curse. The so what would be the fact that not everything is as it seems like Dylan becoming a storm spirit and the three main characters being demigods. Also there are monsters lurking around every corner so watch out also never trust people that don’t seem the nicest because they could be some sort of monster or demon no matter what you will never be safe if you’re a demigod or god.
