The book LOSER is a realistic fiction book by Jerry Spinelli. The book is about a kid named Donald Zinkoff and his life at school. He had stomach problem where he throws up a lot. He lives in the city so its hard to get to school. He lives with his mom and dad. He thinks his dad is the coolest because his dad is a mailman. The first day of school the kids and even teachers thought he was really awkward. Then later a new kid, named Andrew, moved right next to Zinkoff. After a while, Zinkoff thought it would me nice if he gave Andrew cookies. Zinkoff was about to give the cookies to Andrew until they fell. Andrew wasn't happy and ran up stairs. Zinkoff was sad now. Later Zinkoff's mom told him that he had a new baby sister named Polly. Zinkoff thought his life couldn't get any worse. Until in 2nd grade he met the wortst teacher ever. Her name was Mrs. Biswell. She was so rude to Zinkoff. She told him to leave the school because she was so mad at him. After that Zinkoff doesn't know what would happen in his future.

The book that I’m currently reading is, “Harry Potter and The Deathly Hallows” a fatsey novel by J.K. Rowling. So far the book is about Harry, Ron, and Hermione trying to hide/ find the Horcrux that Lord Voldemort has left behind. They have found and destroyed 3/7 of the Horcrux. Harry also gets the Sword of Gryffindor from a mysterious Doe Patronus (The Sword is one of the only ways to kill a Horcrux). As Harry tries to find the rest of the Horcrux he finds clues from items that Dumbledore left behind for Harry and his friends, the clues tell him about the Deathly Hallows, the triangle means the Invisibility Cloak, the circle means the Resurrection Stone and the straight line means the Elder Wand. As Harry tries to stay safe from Lord Voldemort he realizes that the Deathly Hallows could play a big deal in his survival against Lord Voldemort.

Another Day is a fantasy/romance novel by David Levithan. It is related to the book, Every Day, also by David Levithan. Every Day is about a person named A who switches bodies every day, but always wakes up close to the location (his? her?) last life was in. As (he? she?) gets older, the body A inhabits is always that age. A has been alive for 16 years, so everyone A inhabits is also 16, until A turns 17. A is always careful to not mess up the person’s life in any way. A has had many boyfriends and girlfriends over the years, but A has only ever been truly in love with someone once. Then he meets Rhiannon. A is in the form of Justin, Rhiannon’s boyfriend, for the day. Justin is relatively mean towards Rhiannon (not abusive, but dismissive, like he doesn’t really care what she thinks). A and Rhiannon decide to go to the beach together and skip the end of school. Rhiannon is suspicious, because the real Justin probably wouldn’t do this. A and Rhiannon have an amazing time at the beach, and for the second time ever, A truly falls in love with someone. A ends up telling Rhiannon about how he switches bodies every day. She is the first person A has ever told. She is skeptical, but when A comes back the next day in a different body, and is able to tell her things about her, she ends up believing him. A and Rhiannon’s relationship ends up having many ups and downs (especially because Rhiannon is already in a relationship with Justin), but every time, they work to overcome these problems. Every Day is told in the perspective of A, while Another Day is told in the perspective of Rhiannon. I recommend these books to people who like confusing, but intriguing books, and can follow along without getting lost.

The current book I am reading is Fish in a Tree. It is about a girl in sixth grade, Ally. She is great at art, drawing cartoons, and imagining situations in her mind. But, she can’t read and she is having trouble with friends, everyone hates her. Then, her normal teacher leaves to have a baby and a new one comes in, Mr. Daniels. She was amazed about how awesome he was! How he just wanted to work things out between them, how he won’t grade or correct anything, and how easygoing he is. I can connect this to Wonder because Auggie was the odd one out and have trouble in school and with friends. I can also connect this to myself because after I learned to read my sister did too, right away! I think she wanted to so soon because she didn’t want to seem not smart enough around me. This book is great so far! I already love it!!

The title of my book is “Among the Brave” by Margaret Peterson Haddix. This book comes in a series of science fiction novels. This book is the fifth of the series and it is about a boy, Luke, who is a third child which makes him illegal in the society. Luke gets a fake ID to go to a school where he meets Trey. Trey always wanted to be a hero and looks up to Luke because Luke has saved his life and Trey wants to make it up to him. In this book Trey meets Luke’s brother Mark who gets caught by the population police and Luke has to try and save him. In the end of the story Trey ends up saving Mark and that makes him a hero like Luke. Another book that I read that is like this is “On the Run” series which is about kids who are also fighting for their rights. In this series the children try to prove that they are innocent and their parents are innocent of murdering their uncle. Trey tries to make things right with Luke by saving Mark and in the other story the kids are trying to save their parents too. This is the summary of “Among the Brave” and its connection to another series that I read.

I am currently reading The Dark Tower (#2): The Drawing of Three a fantasy novel by Stephen King. In the last book the gunslinger was left stranded on a beach that he is told to follow. After he falls asleep he is attacked by a humanoid/lobster “thing” and he loses several fingers, bullets and toes. With no food, water and the possibility of more attacks the gunslinger knows he is weak and will not make it far. But along his trek he finds a mysterious door labeled “The Prisoner”, when he walks trough he sees through the eyes of a heroin junkie named Eddie. But Eddie live in a world the gunslinger has never seen… Our world… I cannot make any connections to this novel personal or literary (other than the fact that King stated it was like a mash-up of the Hobbit and The Good the Bad and the Ugly) (so far) because of the extremely unique situations of Eddie and the gunslinger.

Currently, I am reading Pretties, a Science-Fiction novel by Scott Westerfeld. Pretties is a follow-up to Uglies, Scott Westerfeld's first novel in the 4 book series. Pretties reminds me of The Hunger Games, because of how the world is falling apart, and even though fixing it isn’t an option, the government still tries to cover it up and come up with some “brilliant” idea. Tally is the main character in Pretties. She is now pretty, and living in Pretty Town. Tally, like all other pretties, tries very hard to fit in and forget her ugly life. But, for some reason she is often having flashbacks of random events or tricks she had played when she was ugly. Tally is trying to figure out what is causing her to have these flashbacks, and what she is trying to remember from them. Meanwhile, her best friend, Shay, is trying to figure out why Tally has been acting so strangely. But, underneath it all lies something so unexpected that the world as they know it may never be the same.

Everything Everything is a Realistic Fiction Novel by Nicola Yoon Madeline suffers from a rare and famous disease called SCID. She calls it 'bubble baby disease' because she lives in a metaphorical bubble; she’s not allowed to leave her house. The only people she socializes with are her mother and her nurse, Carla. However, everything changes when she sees her new neighbor, Olly, for the first time. All of a sudden, she finds herself talking to him through IM, emails and quirky messages written on their windows with marker. Madeline opens up to him about concerns and feelings that she's never able been able to talk about because of her lack of interaction with people her age. In fact, Olly prompts her to feel something she's never felt before: love. Madeline has quickly become my favorite character in Young Adult literature! Her story in absolutely amazing not because of her medical condition, but because we can all find a piece of ourselves in her. Madeline seems to fully represent our feelings, relationships and ideals as teenagers.

This week I have been reading Undivided (I can't underline since this is a blog). It is the fourth book in the Unwind series. On one hand the characters Connor and Risa are trying to mass produce the solution to unwinding, (which people should know about due to my recent book talk). On the other hand Lev is trying to rouse people to fight against unwinding. On a third hand ( or on a leg maybe), one of the more recent characters Cam is trying to shut down a very pro-unwinding company known as "Proactive Citizenry". On another leg (I guess), Mason is leading an army that is forcefully destroying unwinding locations. With all of the events happening at the same time it has been pretty interesting.

I am reading Far From The Tree a realistic fiction novel written by Robin Benway. Far From The Tree is about two siblings that are adopted and one sibling who is still in foster care. They all live in different houses with different families. Grace has a baby, Maya is gay, and Joaquin looks Mexican. They all find each and have to figure out what it feels like to have a biological sibling. Grace wants to find their birth mother but no one wants to take that risk with her so she sets out to find her by herself. In this novel you get all perspectives of all the siblings throughout what the life off each one is like. This novel reminds me of The Face on the Milk Carton because Maya was adopted into a family of redheads and Janes biological family is redheads. So far this book is moving very quickly and is hard to put down and I have realized this novel is very family like and loving.

I am currently reading Calvin and Hobbes, a graphic novel by Bill Watterson. Calvin, the protagonist and an over-imaginative 5 year old with a big vocabulary. Calvin has a stuffed tiger named Hobbes. Calvin claims that hobbes is a vicious wild tiger trying to kill him. Even though Hobbes “tries to kill Calvin” they are best friends and “love” each other. The book is about Calvin and Hobbes “inventing” time machines(a box with a knob), flying carpets(cardboard), and death rays(toothpick gun), then using them. All of these inventions are imaginary and don’t actually work. I can connect Calvin and Hobbes to The Amazing Adventures of Kavalier & Clay which is contemporary adult fiction rooted in the lure of the comic superstar. Breathing life into the story of Joe Kavalier and Sammy Klayman, Chabon weaves together a tale of boyhood that begins with a daring escape from Nazi-controlled Eastern Europe and coalesces with the creation of a unique superhero character — The Escapist — and a journey through the world of comic publishing into adulthood and beyond. If you find yourself yearning for a novel with the spunk and soul of a Calvin and Hobbes comic writ large, look no further than The Amazing Adventures of Kavalier & Clay! (-Bustle).

My independent reading book is currently Brown Girl Dreaming, it is a verse novel by Jacqueline Woodson. Brown Girl Dreaming is about Jacqueline who was born in Columbus, Ohio in 1963. She has an older brother named Hope and an older sister named Odella. Only a year after Jacqueline's birth, her parents separate and she and her siblings move to their granparents house in Greenville, South Carolina. Though slavery ended a century before and the Civil Rights Movement had already begun, racism and discrimination are still uncontrolled in the South. The children are left with their grandparents for long periods of time as their mother explores New York, and they are forced to become Jehovah's Witnesses like their grandmother. Eventually, Jacqueline's mother finds a place for the family to live in New York, and she moves the children there. Jacqueline and her siblings feel out of place due to their Southern accents and childhood, they also must adapt to having another sibling, a baby named Roman. The older children return to South Carolina in the summers, while Roman must spend much of his early life in the hospital due to ingesting lead paint. Jacqueline learns to love New York and greatly enjoys attending school and spending time with her best friend, Maria. Jacqueline's grandfather, who she is very close to, becomes sick over the course of the book, her Uncle Robert is put in prison and greatly changes as a person. However, during the hard times, Jacqueline also learns more about the Civil Rights Movement, the Black Panthers, and feminism.

The book I just finished reading is a historical fiction book titled A Night Divided by Jennifer A. Nielsen. The book is about a girl named Gerta whose family has been divided by a wall. Gerta is left with her mother and eldest brother, Fritz, on the east side of the wall in East Berlin whereas her father and other brother, Dominic, are on the west side of the wall in West Berlin. One day, Gerta spots her father dancing to a childhood song on the West Berlin viewing platforms. She originally thinks he is just trying to brighten up the mood in her life but when Gerta is given a mysterious drawing, she begins to put two and two together. Maybe her father wants her to do more than just remember her childhood. I can connect A Night Divided to two other texts: A Long Walk to Water and Code Name Verity. I can connect it to A Long Walk to Water because in both characters are trying to escape from a place that is dangerous. Salva is trying to escape from Sudan because the country is in war and Gerta is trying to escape from East Berlin because she doesn’t feel safe with all the Stasi guards patrolling the streets. I can connect A Night Divided to Code Name Verity because in both, the characters have to be careful with what they say. Gerta and her family that’s stuck in East Berlin have to be careful what they say because their house has hidden microphones in it and in Code Name Verity, Maddie has to be careful what she says because the French secret police are watching her every move.

I am reading “Orbiting Jupiter”,a realistic fiction novel by Gary D. Schmidt. This book is about a kid named Joseph who is 13 years old and also a father. He was sent to a foster home with a little boy named Jack because it was a rumor that he tried to kill his teacher. He runs away one day to try and find his little girl because he could not find her in the sky. His baby’s name is Jupiter and he use to study where the planet was in the sky at night. All he wanted to do was know his child. Jack went looking for Joseph and ended up finding Jupiter’s adoption parents. I can connect this book to Free Verse which is about a girl in a foster home who happens to live across the street from her cousin. Her cousin runs away and it is up to her to find him.

This week I am reading the realistic fiction book Miracle on 49th Street by Mike Lupica. Miracle on 49th Street is about a girl named Molly. Molly never knew her father and her mother died adequately months ago. Molly’s mother told her all about her father. When Molly realized her father is the star player for the Boston Celtics, Josh Cameron she decided she would go find him. When Molly met him and told him that she was his daughter he didn’t believe her. He thought she was just trying to get his money. Meanwhile Molly is living with her mom’s best friend in Boston, but they are going to move in a few weeks. Will Molly have to leave her friends and her dad she just met? Will Molly convince Josh in time? Read the book to find out. One connection I have is a text-to-text to the movie The Game Plan. It has a very similar story line about a little girl telling a famous athlete she is his daughter. Another text-to-text is to The Secret Hum of a Daisy. In this book Grace’s mother died too. Grace wants to live with people who she feels at home with like Molly with Josh, but she is being forced to stay at her grandmas like Molly with her mom’s friend. I would recommend this book to anyone who likes sports books and realistic fiction novels.

Over the past few weeks, I’ve been reading a historical fiction book by Alan Gratz called Refugee. Refugee tells the stories of three different kids in three different time periods living in three different countries, but each having a common goal: to escape their current world. Josef is a Jewish boy living in Germany during the Holocaust. His dad had just gotten back from a concentration camp and wasn’t really his old self. One day, Josef and his family board a boat in an attempt to get to Cuba and leave Hitler and the Nazis. Isabel is a Cuban girl and her story is set in the 90’s. Her city is running very low on many resources and things needed to survive, so her family makes their own little metal boat and tries to sail to Miami. Finally, Mahmoud is living in Syria and his village is currently being invaded due to war. In one of the first chapters, a soldier throws a bomb into his apartment and breaks an entire wall. They decide that this is the last straw and decide to set off on foot, not knowing where they are going. This book is a little bit like Running for my life by Lopez Lomong because they all have to leave their home because it is no longer safe. Overall, Refugee was a great book.

Currently, I am reading the realistic fiction novel Speak by Laurie Halse Anderson. I decided to read this book because Laurie Halse Anderson was the same author of my Lit Circle book, Wintergirls. Speak is told from the perspective of a girl, Melinda, who is just starting her first year of high school. After accidentally calling the cops and getting everyone in trouble at a party over the summer and not speaking up over why she called the police, Melinda is left all alone with no friends. Melinda is now too scared to speak up and tell what is really going on with her and can only truly express herself using art not words. One thing both Wintergirls and Speak have in common are that both the main characters parents are alike. Lia, the main character in Wintergirls is an 18 year old anorexic who is unable to control everything that is happening around her. Both Lia and Melinda’s parents are very confused and are not really sure how to deal with their daughters situations. Both sets of parents have trouble communicating with their kids.

My book is a fantasy novel by Rick Riordan and its The Trials Of Apollo The Dark prophecy. I'm not that far in to it but from where I am now they are being attacked by people without heads and their face on their chest. In the beginning Apollo is trying to find something that ran away in the last book. The action starts off in the first chapter when something strange happens and they end up on the roof of a building with some fire. Also there is a bulldozer so you know stuff is going to go down. Leo also attempts to use a staple gun like a real gun, sort of. There is another alley with dumpsters. Before you read this book read the first one otherwise nothing makes sense, I lied most of it still kinda maybe will make sense. Overall it's a good book if you like fighting and trying to figure out what just happened in parts of the book, It's good for you.

The book I am reading is a realistic fiction novel by Alan Gratz, called Refugee. It is a story told from three points of view and all have different stories. Though they all are in different time periods, they have to go through similar hardships and fight for something, whether it be their life or their freedom. The time periods that their end, are brutal times with adversity and sadness. While they take care of their own life, they have to watch out for their families and help them along the way. This book is like a book called Forgotten fire. That book is about a boy that has to survive the Armenian holocaust in 1915. It is similar to this book because one point of view in the book, is about the Jewish Holocaust. They both try to get away from their horrible country and try survive these hard times.

The book I am currently reading is Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince written by JK Rowling, the genre is Fantasy. So far in the book the Minister of Magic has resigned. The Minister resigned because Lord Voldemort has risen to power again. Later in the book Dumbledore and Harry go to find a teacher for Potion making. You may think that is Professor Snape’s job but Dumbledore promotes him to Defense Against the Dark Arts. When he goes back to Hogwarts the new teacher, Professor Slughorn, loves Harry because he is famous. But Dumbledore just didn’t want a new teacher he wanted professor Slughorn because he has a important memory. Dumbledore appoints Harry to give that memory up. The Harry Potter series is very similar to The Lord of the Rings because it seems as if that Harry Potter took a lot of its ideas. For example the invisibility cloak in Harry Potter is similar to the Elvish cloak in Lord of the rings, they both make you invisible. Another example is having the enemy grow from nothing into the most powerful army ever. Also the ring is like the Elder Wand, everyone wants it.

I am currently reading Watership Down, a fantasy novel written by Richard Adams. It is about a group of rabbits who flee from their warren (a group of interconnecting rabbit holes where they live in the wild) because a small rabbit, Fiver, has a premonition about something awful happening to the warren. He has been known to predict danger very accurately, so the rabbits that trust him journey off to find a good place for a new warren. They encounter obstacles along their way and must stick together and persevere in order to pass them. Watership Down is similar to the Harry Potter series because Hazel and Fiver have to go on adventures with their friends and face unexpected challenges, just like Harry does with his friends. It is also very similar to Mrs. Frisbee and the Rats of Nimh because both stories are about animals that must leave their home and find a new place to live since they are not safe where they are. I am greatly enjoying reading Watership Down.

The book that I am talking about is a book from the sires I book talked (The Secret of Spellshadow Manor) The Chain. The Chain is a fantasy book written by Bella Forrest. The Chain has been a joy to read because there is action mystery and uncovering a little more about The great evil in the five heavens left. My favorite scene in this book was when Alex used his powers to help Jari. I loved this scene because it really showed what he could do when his anger drove his powers. Alex also has more interactions with the mysterious figure Elius, his shadow guide. Elius is a character that neither I nor Alex can wrap his head around. Sometimes he is helpful and providing information, but on the other hand he is also a shady figure who seems to not tell the whole truth. All in all The Chain is a fantastic book and I can't wait to read the other books.

Right now I am reading the realistic fiction novel Tears of the Tiger by Sharon M. Draper. Tears of the Tiger is about four boys in high school who are coming home from their basketball game and are drinking and driving. They get into a car crash and one of the friends Rob, dies, and the rest of the boys suffer from injuries. The boys who lived have to suffer through trauma and in the book, and you see how they deal with it. All the boys have different family problems, and it is their last year in high school, which means they have to deal with a death, and prepare for the future. A connection I made with this book is the drinking and driving part. There are so many deaths caused by drunk driving in the world, and is one of the main causes of death. A text connection I made was (spoiler for The Fault in Our Stars) when Gus, Hazel had to death with his death, just like the boys are dealing with Rob’s death. This book is told in different viewpoints, and I love it! I recommend it to anyone.

Currently, I am reading the dystopian novel, Crossed by Ally Condie. I strongly recommend this book to anyone who is looking for something new and exciting. If you are looking for a book that is similar to The Giver, you should give this a try. (Matched is the first book) Matched is told in only one perspective, when you move onto the second book, it switches between two perspectives. In this corrupt society, you are limited by what you choose. Cassia is now seventeen, she is to be matched at this age. She, like everyone else is antsy and excited to be matched, until she finds that she has to choose between her beloved friend and a “new kid”. The rarity of this case in inexplicable. The society never makes mistakes, so why this error? Throughout the book, she tries to figure out why, and in the process she begins to fall in love with the “new kid”, Ky. She knows that she also loves Xander, but she also knows that a choice needs to be made. Most of the second book is about the decision she made, so I will not spoil it for anyone who wants to read it. Though I have never read it, this series seems to be based off of the book Brave New World. The summaries are similar in the way that their societies are both chaotic.

The book I am currently reading is Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, written by J.K. Rowling. The genre is fantasy. This is the sixth book in the series. The book starts off with the story switching points of view. The beginning starts with the Minister of Magic and the Prime Minister of England talking about a recent Death Eater attack. The book then switches to a Death Eater going to Snape’s cabin to talk about Malfoy. Then switches to Harry going back to Hogwarts after summer break. When Harry gets to Hogwarts there is a new teacher, Professor Slughorn. With all the new Death Eater attacks Dumbledore needs Harry to have Slughorn extract a memory so Dumbledore can figure out what it means. Later on, Harry finds a book that belongs to the Half-Blood Prince. Hermione is getting sceptical about the book because the previous owner has written spells that are not permitted by the Ministry of Magic. With all the dark magic Hermione is afraid it contains something evil.

The book I am currently independently reading is Orbiting Jupiter, which is a realistic fiction novel by Gary D. Schmidt. To briefly summarize Orbiting Jupiter, Jack is a 12 year old who lives on a farm when he meets his new foster brother, Joseph, a 14 year old eighth grader who almost killed a teacher, was imprisoned at a place called Stone Mountain and has a daughter named Jupiter, who he has never seen before. Soon Jack becomes good friends with Joseph. More than friends even. Despite the criticism Jack receives for always having Joseph’s back, Jack will still always have Joseph’s back no matter what, even when it comes to finding Jupiter. A text to text connection I can make to this novel is A Long Walk To Water, because like Salva, Joseph is also separated from his family.

I am reading the realistic fiction, verse novel Booked by Kwame Alexander. It’s about a boy in 8th grade who loves soccer more than anything in the world. His world is shook when he finds out that his mom and dad are separating (getting divorced). He has to choose between his soccer team and an annoying dad that drives him crazy or his mom who he loves and can’ live without and leave his best friend and soccer team. I haven’t got very far into it yet so I don’t really know what happens next. A text to world connection is that there are a lot of parents that divorce in this world and its really hard on their children especailly if the move away.

I am currently reading “The Da Vinci Code”, a mystery novel by Dan Brown. This novel is about a secret that has been kept for the past thousand years, and when the only keeper of the secret dies suddenly without telling a soul; a professor sets out to discover the long lost secret and the important roles it plays on the world. I only began this novel a few days ago, but it already is exciting and thrilling; it is the type of book you never want to put down. I can connect this book to “The Title of this Book is a Secret” by Pseudonymous Bosch. I read this series in fifth grade, and it starts right off with adventure, like “The Da Vinci Code” by Dan Brown.

I am reading The Rest of us Just Live Here by Patrick Ness, a Science Fiction novel. Mickey, the protagonist is a senior in high school who just wants to enjoy his last few weeks with his best friends. However with the indie kids constantly dying and the random blue light it seems almost impossible. Mikey’s sister, Mel, is a recovering anorexic, while his younger sister, Meredith, is the genius and sweetheart of the family as it appears she has no problems. His father is an alcoholic who barely notices he has a son, which is better than his mother since she’s obsessed with politic and her family is almost her last priority. Mikey’s crush, Henna seems to be attracted to Nathan, who mysteriously showed up when the indie kids started dying. A text to world connection is you don’t have to be “the chosen one” or “the guy who saves the world” there are 7.442 billion people in the world, not everyone can be the hero. So be the hero in your own life, which is exactly what these seniors intend to do.

Will and Cecily start as friends but they soon fall deeply in love. Will starts having a hard time with the thought that he cant even see his own girlfriend. But is Cecily hiding soemthing about herself? Is she really who she says she is? Is she taking advantage of Will? Read Love and First Sight to find out!!!

My current reading book is Rules, a realistic fiction book, written by Cynthia Lord. In this book, a twelve year old girl Catherine just wants a normal life. Her life isn’t even close to normal. Her brother, David, has autism. This really puts a huge conflict on there family. It’s hard for Catherine because David gets all the attention but she knows he is struggling. Catherine tries her best her best to keep David under control but it’s hard because he likes to act out every once and awhile. Through the story a boy named Jason and a girl named Kristi move in near Catherine. She starts to become close and notice that there might be just some normal things in the world. She sparks this little connection with Jason that she has never felt before. Jason starts to get to know David more throughout the book and they start to grow a huge connection. I recommend this book to people who want to learn more about disability awareness and anyone who likes a fairly sad book.

Confessions the Paris Mysteries is a mystery/realistic fiction book by James Patterson and Maxine Paetro. Tandy is an intellectually advanced teenager in present day. This is the third book of its series, and I absolutely adored the first two. I read them towards the beginning of fifth grade and could never put them down. In the first book, Confessions of a Murder Suspect, Tandy and her three siblings (an older, twin, and younger brother) embark the adventures of a murder mystery. Their ridiculously strict and filthy rich parents were found dead - much to their children’s surprise - in their bed. Anyone and everyone are suspects...their children included. Who had done it? Read to find out. The second novel, Confessions the Private School Murders, a serial killer is on the loose - killing any teenage girl it encounters. Will Tandy survive? Read to find out. In the third novel, (which I am currently reading) the children are visiting France. Will the never-ending family secrets be uncovered? What happened to the other sister in the family? Let’s see...

Right now I am reading the mystery novel One of Us is Lying by Karen M. McManus. One of Us is Lying is about five teenagers Simon, Bronwyn, Addy, Cooper and Nate, they are all very different from each other. One day when they all are in detention Simon takes a sip of water and then starts to have an allergic reaction. No one could find his epipen he went to the hospital. A few hours later he died. The police know someone tried to kill him. The police have been interviewing Nate, Addy, Bronwyn and Cooper and asking them questions most of them seem kind of suspicious for different reasons. In the book people have been getting texts about it. An anonymous person wanted Simon to die, they have been saying that it was someone in detention. They said how they killed him. No one can really figure out who it is and there aren’t enough clues yet. This book doesn’t really relate to any other book I have read and I have only read a few mysteries.

My current reading book is The Rule of Thoughts,it's a Dystopian book by James Dashner.Michael was one of the three pulled by Agent Weber and the VNS to help stop Kaine, a tangent who was causing trouble, trapping people inside the Virtnet, sometimes causing them to comite suicide. The other two pulled along were his best friends Bryson, and Sarah. They began their search at Old Towne, finding Cutter. He spills the information saying to go to the Black and Blue Club and find Ronika, who he says can tell you how to find Kaine. He says that what will lead you to Kaine is The Path. The club was a very popular club, only for rich, or famous people. Michael, Bryson, and Sarah managed to hack their way through, only to fall through the floor where Ronika questions them and they question her. What he found at the end turned everything he’d ever known about his life—and the world—completely upside down. He barely survived. But it was the only way VirtNet Security knew to find the cyber-terrorist Kaine and to make the Sleep safe for gamers once again.I can connected to the book the Death Cure when Thomas the main charcter struggles like Miachel to save his friends his friends and family.Getting all the presuere on him to save the world and the future of main kind.

I am currently reading the fantasy novel Deep Blue by Jennifer Donnelly, this is a novel that I read over the summer, but unfortunately at the time i found the book extremely challenging, and had a hard time comprehending some important details, but i have decided to reread it now that i am a much more advanced reader. Deep Blue is about a mermaid princess names Seraphina, she is the air to the throne and is about to take her mother's place as Queen, or at least she was supposed to.The book takes place deep underwater in a magical place called Miromara, one of the six Realms Of Mer. During Seras crowning, her kingdom was attacked by mysterious mr (men) in black, it is now up to Sera to safe not just her own kingdom but the other six realms, before they get attact aswel, its now her duty to come together with the other rulers of the Six Realms, and safe there ocean world before it too late.
