We think the book son of the mob was by Gordon Korman is a bad lit circle book because it was not descriptive and did not have a lot of action. Also there was nothing to desccuss about the book so we think I was very hard to talk about. Also we were confused about the main plot of the book and what the characters were doing it was obvious what was going to happen and there was only one plot twist. It was very obvious that he was going to get a new girlfriend. We would give this a 2 out of 5 rating for a lit circle book

My literature circle group agreed that the books, The Golden Compass, and The Subtle Knife by Phillip Pullman are both great lit. circle books. We think they are good because they are at our reading level, it has an interesting plot with twists and turns, and they are easy to follow. Also it held our attention and we couldn’t put it down. It was nearly impossible to only read a few chapters, because you’d end up reading most of the book.

We do not think Boy by Roald Dahl should be a lit. circle book in the future. We thought it was extremely boring and had no point really. Lit. circle books should be exciting and adventurous but those are the things this book lacked. There were very few funny parts in this book, and the funny parts were not that funny. This book might be good for people who like auto-biographies and like historical fiction but if you like adventure do NOT read this book. All in all, we do not recommend this book to be a future lit. circle book.

Our group has come to a consensus that our book is a great lit circle book. It is good because there are many events to talk about but with the exception the book was quite mature. The opening day game against O'dea and the assault of Monica Roby are some examples of some of the events and adult content in the book. This is how and why our book is good for another lit circle.

Yes, we do think our lit circle book Everlost is a good book. One of the reasons we think Everlost by Neal Shusterman is a good book because there was suspenseful plots with lots of uncalled for plot twists. Another reason we like Everlost was because we the newly imaginary setting that the author came up with it made you want to keep reading. Also the word choices in this book are incredibly descriptive. the last reason we loved the book Everlost is because of the characters and how they change through out the book. We could recommend this book to anyone especially if they like sci-fi

The Hobbit, by J. R. R. Tolkien, is both a good and bad novel to read in a literature circle. One reason as to why The Hobbit is a good circle book is that it is adventurous and action-packed. This makes room for a lot of predictions and questions to be made at discussions. Next, this book is very descriptive and always makes you want to keep reading. Active reading and understanding helps to keep interest in the book and in discussions. To add on to that, the important details in this book force you to focus and really understand what you are reading.

We think Ghost Canoe was a good lit. circle book because there were lots of events that you could discuss and you easily fill out a lit. circle bookmark bases on the book. You could come up with good discussion questions to talk about. You could relate to the characters and how they were feeling. We would give this book 2 stars for a free reading book, but 4 stars for a lit. circle book. This book was very boring to read but was a good discussion book.

We think "Everlost" by Neal Shusterman was a good lit circle book because it has a lot of exciting adventure and it's action packed. For example, the most intense parts of the book was that Allie taught the McGill how to skinjack, and when Nick got to the twin towers and told the after lights about how you can make wishes from the coins. We would recommend this book to anyone who likes adventure and action packed books.

Yes, the book Stotan, by Chris Crutcher, is a good lit circle book. Stotan, was a good lit circle book because there was wide range of vocabulary and many life lessons. The book had many confusing parts, which made it good for discussion. The plot of the book made our group want to read more. Stotan is a very interesting book. We would recommend this book to anybody who likes comedy and drama.

No, we do not think Ironman is a good lit circle book because Bo does not set a good example and there is a lot of swearing. Bo sets a good example in sports, but not in school. He called his teacher a bad word and got sent to anger management. That is not a good example. Also, we didnt really like that it was in letter form. We thought that it was a bad idea and we didnt like that he kept saying "Lar". We also didnt like the plot and story. Overall, it was not a good lit circle book.

I liked the book and so did most of my group. It was really different from any of the books I read and fun to read. There are a lot of things u can relate to like not wanted to go to church. There are a lot if things u can not relate to like believing a water tower is god. There are also a lot of things to question like why would U climb a water tower and swim in it. So I personally think that this is a good lit circle book and that everyone should read it and should pick it for next lit circle.

We came up to a consensus that we did not think that The Juvie Three was not a good lit circle book because we thought it was pretty boring. It was never exciting. Not a lot really happened and maybe some more action and drama would have made it more fun to read. The characters never went on any real journeys. They always just followed the rules so there was no real police involved or exciting action. The whole book was pretty predictable, especially the ending. The relationships were not unique in any way. Roxanne, a girl role in the book was always predictable. In general, the characters and the story were not very entertaining to read.

Our consensus was that They Cage The Animals At Night was a good lit circle book. We thought so because there was always something going on in the book and it was easy to talk about. Also, there were clear chapters that tied the whole book together. The main character was descriptive with what he was feeling, what was going on and, what his family was feeling and going through. Overall, it was a great book that we don't regret reading.

Our Lit circle book was "Holes". It was a good lit circle book because a lot of parts were left unanswered so we could discuss about those parts. It also had a lot of suspenseful parts and we asked what was going through our mind at that part. But, at the end of the book it answered some of our questions we had. Over all "Holes," was a good lit circle book.
