Sorry to hear that your brother scared you so much! It's something siblings like to do for some reason. I'm sure he'll outgrow it. Can't wait to see how your monster research project goes!

For this blog I wanted to do a Halloween story. I went trick or treating with my two best friends, Braedon and Josh. We all decided to meet in Braedon’s neighborhood and trick or treat there. Josh and I dressed up as grim reapers and Braedon was a gangster. We all looked really scary! Along the way we saw a bonfire and we stopped and played soccer. We thought that it was really hard to play in our costumes! On our way back to trick or treating we felt a shadow following us and we started to run. After running for a while we realized that we were lost! Good thing I had my phone to use as a flashlight. Then we realized that shadow was really our own! We made it back safely…or did we?

I was thinking about what I would write for this blog and I decided to write about vacations. I really love vacations. My family’s vacations are a little bit weird. For example, we have gone on two road trips across the country that were both four weeks long. We are planning to drive to Washington and back this summer. On these trips we stop at as many National Park service sites as we can. I have been to over 80 National parks, monuments, or historical sites. My favorite place in the United States is Montana. When I was there my family went on a ten-mile hike. At one point we walked around the corner and saw a grizzly bear. He didn’t do very much, but it was really cool! Also, my family travels to Jamaica about once every two years. My mom grew up there and my grandparents live there. It is one of my favorite places to go! Finally, the one other place I love to visit is Canada. There is a water park near Ottawa that is really awesome that my family went to last summer. When we were in Ottawa we went to a bunch of really cool museums! In the future I hope to go back to Ottawa, keep visiting Jamaica, go on a few more road trips and maybe go to a different continent.

Nice blog Ty. I am the BIGGEST fan of that show! One thing I disagree about is the part where you said you would recommend this book to anyone who loves zombies. I hated zombies to their guts (get it?) when I started watching this show. I started watching when the show was at the beginning of season 4. To improvise on your statement, I would say, "I highly recommend this show to anyone who enjoys a thrilling ride.". I get that the show is based off of a zombie apocalypse, but it's more about the survival of it. This show is full of gore though. Great drama.

Hey Mr. Kerwin I want to write about my favorite book " The Trumpet of The Swan". Have you err herd about it? It's about a kid I think named zack or something like that and he and his dad go camping every summer. Anyway, zack wanted to go explore in the woods and found a family of swans. He noticed there was one swan that didn't have any voice wile the others were honking and playing around the smallest swan was so quite. He Tryed to honk but couldn't. As the story goes on zack try's his best to help the swan to honk by using a trumpet. Zack helped the little swan gain a voice through hard work. You would have to read the book and see how the swan learn to play the trumpet.
