The character that I could relate to most is Ponyboy. I relate to him because he loves to read books and watch movies, which his gang is not very fond of. This leads to them making fun of him. In my life there is hobbies and future dreams I have that people don’t support. One of my examples are when I grow up I want to be in the Military or Navy. Also I ski and some of my old friends thought that it was weird. I think that it is important that people do what they love because it will get them farther in there life. Also It is more important to do what you love whether people despise of it or not. In the book The Outsiders Ponyboy still does what he loves because he loves to. The world is filled up with so many talented people and every talent is different so whether or not we chose to use it is our decision.

One of the characters I think the character I can most relate myself to in The Outsiders is Cherry Valance. She holds her ground when she needs to and doesn’t let herself get bossed around. She can also be a little feisty at times. That is something I also do when someone is trying to boss me around just like Cherry Valance. Another trait that me and Cherry Valance share is being nice when we want/choose to. Although Johnny killed Bob, Cherry still helps out his gang by spying in on the socs for them. I do the same thing, like if someone did something mean or bad to me, I try to be nice and get our friendship back together like it once was. That was the character who I think I can most relate to (Cherry Valance), and the two traits that we most definitely have in common.

The character that I relate to most in The Outsiders is Two-Bit Matthews. In the book and movie, he is portrayed as a pretty funny guy. I try to be funny pretty often, too. I have a good sense of humor and so does he. A lot of times, when somebody says something or something happens, I might say something funny. Two-Bit would do the same. But also, if something bad happens, he would be very serious. Two-Bit gets very serious when he learns about Johnny’s death. I can also get serious when I am in a bad situation. Two-Bit can also be lazy. He doesn’t have a job, and he doesn’t go to school to learn, he only goes to school to play pranks and make jokes. I don’t do that exactly, but I can be lazy sometimes. I don’t like doing chores at my house, and if I were allowed to, I would be on my computer for hours. Those are a few ways that I relate to Two-Bit.

I can relate to Ponyboy because I am creative, artistic, I really like books and movies and I am self-conscious. I am creative like Ponyboy because whenever a big event is going to happen I visualize everything that could go right or wrong. One example is when I was going to my third fencing tournament I visualized every match going wack as well as imagining myself getting 1st place. I am artistic like Ponyboy because I notice the tiniest things about people and I draw a lot. I always get engaged in movies and always think about the details of the movie afterwards. I love to read books and if a book is really good I’ll stay in my bed reading it until I finish it. I am self-conscious because whenever people tell me my art is good I always think

I am most like Darry from The Outsiders. For example, in The Outsiders, Darry doesn't like little kids but will do anything for Johnny. Darry doesn't like to be nice to other greasers except Johnny. I would do anything for my best friend but I might not be as willing to help people I don't know very well. My best friend is very important to me and I wouldn’t hesitate to help her. Also, Darry is bold and adventurous. I am also very adventurous. Darry is from NYC and knows his way around many places. Darry also knew where the church was so Johnny and Ponyboy could hide. My friends and I like to go and explore places we’ve never been to. In addition, my sister and I are usually more willing to go to new places for vacations and see new sights. I’m ok with doing things other people might not be ok with. I am very bold when it comes to trying new things or helping my friends. That is why I am most like Darry from The Outsiders.

Out of all of The Outsiders characters, I relate the most to Ponyboy Curtis. I relate the most to him because I like to read and I am creative. I also like to watch sunsets from my porch. I can be shy if I go somewhere that I’ve never been before. For example, if I go to the first rehearsal of a show I am in and I don’t know anyone. However, after a while I become more comfortable and less shy, like how Ponyboy gets more comfortable with the greasers. Lastly, I am like Ponyboy because I’ll always be by my friends’ sides. Ponyboy stayed with his friend, Johnny, after he killed Bob, when he could of gone home and turned him in. In conclusion, I relate the most to Ponyboy because we both like to read, watch sunsets, can be shy, and will stay by our friends’ sides.

I can relate mostly to Sodapop. He feels trapped in between his siblings arguments. I have two siblings of my own and I can’t take sides. I love both of my siblings and feel trapped just like Sodapop. We are all very close and do a lot of things together. We love to play sports and games together. We are all very active so it works well sometimes when we want to do something. Our parents have to work a lot so we spend a lot of time with each other. Sometimes we get along really well and other times not so much. The second reason I can relate to Sodapop is I am sweet. I like things like eggs and syrup and OJ and Oreos ( try it). Jacob is a sophomore now and starting to act more like Darry, more sophisticated and mature. He is always in charge. Emma is sorta in the middle. She’s crazy like me and a little more mature than me. All and all we make a great team and we all love each other. This is why I relate most to Sodapop.

I could relate to PonyBoy from The Outsiders. I believe that I am most like PonyBoy because of I over think normal mysteries of life. Like if I get a low grade in a long time, that would stick with me for about a month. That's knowing that my parents won't yell at me, they would just tell me to try harder because they know sometimes, you can get low grades. I think that because in the book he would relate anything to anything pretty much. That may be because of the time period or most likely his personality. That relates to me because, If I don't have anything to do, I can just sit and think of something and start building ideas off of it. Just like PonyBoy did, described everything and made connections. Secondly, I could relate to PonyBoy the most because he really feels everything. By that, I mean that when Johnny died, or when he realized that he does have someone he can talk about sunrise and sing poems too and that was Johnny for him. For its probably my sister, she is small but I share, or at least I try to share anything I can with her. Also, I was really scared when my grandmother was in the ICU, I cried for almost 2 days. Overall, I can relate to PonyBoy the most, because we share feelings with others, and we daydream a lot. Don't if that's a good statement or not.

The character in The Outsiders I can relate to the most is Ponyboy I see a relation because sometimes I don’t use my head in certain situation. I see this when I am in school some time like when I don't check my work and it causes dumb mistakes. I also relate to Ponyboy because I can be very dumb outside of school this is like Ponyboy not being “street smart” as Darry says. I also see myself relating to Sodapop because he hates to see friends, family, and others suffering pain. He probably hates seeing people this way because his mother and father both died in a car crash when the boys were young. Along with the death of Johnny Cade he has experienced a lot of pain through people suffering and dying while they still had a lot to live for. As you can see I can relate too many characters in The Outsiders but i best relate to Sodapop and Ponyboy.

After reading The Outsiders, I feel like the character I relate most to is Johnny. Some reasons I feel this this way is because Johnny seems to be nervous , shy and insecure about himself. Sometimes I feel nervous when a lot of people are around or when I have to talk to people I don’t really know. When Johnny is around the girls he has a hard time talking to them and acts nervous. I can relate to this feeling most especially when in the hallways where there are so many people I don’t usually talk to. One way I don’t relate to him is that Johnny’s family is abusive and mean to him. This could be why Johnny is so nervous and unsure about himself. My family does not treat me that way. Johnny is also very brave and showed this when he saved kids from a fire. I would do the same thing if i were in that scenario. This is why Johnny is most like me.

I believe that I relate to Sodapop as my Outsiders character. I relate to Sodapop the most because he is handsome and I am pretty. In the book Ponyboy mentions that girls go to the gas station just to see Sodapop. I believe that I am pretty and many of my friends also believe that. Another way me and Soda relate is that he loves to joke around a lot by using funny words and doing funny things. I also love being funny and I am constantly trying to make my friends laugh.Soda doesn't like it when his two brothers fight. Like Sodapop I don't like fighting with my siblings or if my siblings are fighting it breaks my heart. Lastly Sodapop and I are alike because if me and my sisters would going to be split up I would do anything to prevent that from happening. Sodapop also doesn't want his brothers to be split apart, so he shows the judge that he really loves his brothers and would have done anything for them to prove he is worthy. In many ways me and Sodapop are alike that's is the main reason that I decided fro him to be my Outsiders character.

I am most like Ponyboy from The Outsiders because Ponyboy likes theater and lives to read. I also like theater and like to read that books that I really enjoy. Ponyboy is a very unique and genuine person he is kind, helpful and very brave.Ponyboy shows his emotions through his actions throughout the book and the movie. I think that I am a unique person I am helpful, kind and brave too. Pony is different from the rest of the greasers because he doesn’t really believe in fighting unless it’s self defense unlike the other greasers. I think that I am the same way as he is about that. I think I am different because I think I stand from the rest of my friend groups . Ponyboy learns that his behavior is going to impact on others. I think that too because I’m not the only person in the world and other people matter. This is why I think I relate most to Ponyboy!

I relate most to Ponyboy, because of his different personalitiy traits and the activities he likes to do. For example Ponyboy loves to read books and watch movies, even though his friends think that is weird. I relate to this, because I absolutely love to watch movies, especially if it’s raining and I love to read any book that is endearing or funny even though my friends think it’s weird that I read so much. Ponyboy is also very self conscious, which constantly gets brought up in the book. For example, when Ponyboy was at the drive-in he was self conscious about the way he looked to Cherry. I’m self conscious, because when I’m singing or playing my viola in front of people I’m afraid that if I mess up, people will start laughing at me. My last example would be how Ponyboy always wants to try to be friendly and doesn’t like to be in fights. For example ,Pony didn’t want to go to the rumble because he knew that fighting wasn’t the answer, but went anyway, because he didn’t want to look like a coward. I relate to this, because I always want to make sure that I’m not mean to my friends and if there's a fight I either step away or try to stop it. That is why I think I relate most with Pony from The Outsiders.

I can relate to Ponyboy the most because he loves to read and see movies. When I was young I would LOVE to see a movie at the movie theater, but one day I saw a scary movie and didn't want to go anymore. On my 10th birthday, we went to see a movie, and I once again fell in love with the movie theater. I have always liked to read. Once I get into a book, I just cant put it down! These are the reasons I can relate to Ponyboy.

In my opinion, the Outsiders character that I can relate to the most is Ponyboy Curtis. First of all, I am, like Ponyboy, loyal to my friends. When Johnny ran away after killing Bob, Ponyboy ran away with him, instead of turning him over to the police. On several occasions, my friends have gone through hard times, or have been bullied. When they were bullied, I would stand up for them, if I was able to during the situation. Another thing that we have in common is that Ponyboy also appreciates and enjoys natural beauty, like sunsets. He seems to show this is important to him. I usually appreciate and notice these natural wonders. I enjoy my camp in the adirondacks the most in my family, except for perhaps my mother. I love how unconnected from society it is up north. And we have both lost important family members. Pony lost his parents, and I lost my Grandma and Grandpa. This is why i think i relate to Ponyboy more than the other characters.

The Outsiders character I relate to most would have to be Sodapop. One reason I chose Sodapop was that we both feel most at home with animals. In the book, he had a horse named Mickey Mouse whom he loved very much. I can relate to this because I love my dogs very much, probably more than I like humans. Another example of how I can relate to Sodapop is we both hate it when people around us fight, especially our loved ones. Whenever Darry and Ponyboy were fighting, he would try to end it. I can relate to this because whenever people around me fight, even people I don’t care for, I try to stop them from fighting and resolve their conflict, whatever it may be, calmly. Another reason I can relate to Sodapop is I am already a bit kooky without alcohol or even sugar. In the book Soda is described as being “high on life” which I can relate to.because I am a bit weird like that too. This is how and why I relate to Sodapop Curtis the most.

Out of all The Outsider’s characters I think I’m most like Sodapop. Soda cares about his brothers. He listens to both of them talk about important things to them like their hopes and dreams, he stands up for both of them. I also care about my family. I listen to my older brother’s dreams about making moviesand becoming a famous director. Sometimes I listen to my parents complaints and worries. Soda and I both have similar tastes in food, we both like chocolate cake and chocolate milk for breakfast. We also both like eggs for breakfast. Soda is a good friend he listens to all of his friends and doesn’t interrupt. It is clear that he really cares about each of them. I also listen to my friends whether it is about school or urgent fashion advice or more serious things. We are both good listeners and agree on which types of foods should on the breakfast menu!

One character from The Outsiders that I relate to most is Ponyboy because he is intelligent. In the book, Ponyboy loves to read and watch movies. This relates to me because I also love to read and watch movies. In The Outsiders, Ponyboy read Gone With the Wind with Johnny. This shows that Ponyboy likes reading with his friends. I also like reading with other people. After Ponyboy watches a movie, he thinks about it for a while. At the beginning of the book it says,”As I walked out of the movie theater, I had two things on my mind. Paul Newman and a ride home.” This shows that Ponyboy must have watched a movie about Paul Newman and was thinking about him. After I watch a movie, I think about it for a long time too. After watching The House With the Clock in its Walls, I thought about the movie for a couple of days until I found the book at Barnes and Nobles. When I found it, I really wanted to read it. This is why I relate to Ponyboy.

The character from The Outsiders that I relate to the most is Cherry. I relate to Cherry the most because she is tough and stand up for herself. When Dally was being mean and annoying them Cherry stood up for herself by saying to go away. When she was saying that she looked tough, even tho she was scared. I am like that whenever something scary is happening I act tough even tho I’m really scared. Also Cherry stood up for herself against Bob when he was drunk. She said she wouldn't hang out with them when they were drunk. I stand up for myself when something is wrong and it doesn't seem right. Cherry and I both have many things in common, We both act though when we are scared and we stand up for ourselves when things don’t seem right. Those are the qualities Cherry and I share.

The character that I most could relate to from The Outsiders is Ponyboy. One reason is because we both don’t use our head sometimes. In the novel, Ponyboy gets in trouble with Darry for not using his head after he walks home from the movies alone and gets jumped by the Socs. I don’t use my head either because just this morning I almost put the gallon of milk the microwave instead of my mug. Ponyboy and I also are similar because we both love to read and go to the movies. When Ponyboy gets sick he reads a lot. I absolutely love to read, whenever I read it’s like I get transferred to the world that the story takes place in. Also, when The Outsiders first starts it is when Ponyboy is walking out of the moviehouse and later in the book he, Johnny, and Dally go to the movies. My family doesn’t go to the movies that often, so when we do it is definitely a treat. But, unlike Dally, Johnny, and Ponyboy we don’t sneak in without paying. That is why I can relate to Ponyboy from The Outsiders.

Out of all the characters in The Outsiders, the character I relate to most is Randy. First, I relate to Randy the most because he and other Soc’s like to jump Greasers like Ponyboy and Johnny. They like to fight. When I was in elementary school, I went through a phase in which I was always reckless, angry, and would think it was fun to fight. That is one way I am like Randy. In addition, I am also like Randy because when his best friend Bob got killed when he was jumping Ponyboy and Johnny, he refused to fight again. For example, in the rumble between the Greasers and the Soc’s. That is like me because as soon as I realized what I was actually doing and especially after a teacher got mad at me and others for being like that and told me I had a bloody nose after a particularly rough recess. I realized that I was crazy and this was no solution to anger. I never did anything like that again. In conclusion, I am most like Randy from The Outsiders because I used to like fighting, but when I realized all the harm that it causes I stopped and never did it again

I believe that The Outsiders character that most relates to me is Ponyboy. In the novel and movie, Ponyboy is very booksmart, but not so street smart. He gets above average to adequate grades, but when it comes to using his head, Ponyboy is at a loss. I believe that I, too, have this quality, which serves as both a profitable and harmful trait to have. Another way that I am like Ponyboy is how we are both very self-conscious. I care very much and probably too much about what others will think of me. You can see this in Ponyboy right from the start of the novel when he talks about how he hates his green eyes how he doesn’t look tough enough like Paul Newman. I don’t care as much about how tough or cool I look, rather that all of the colors of my outfit go together and I do not look disheveled, unorganized, or weird. A third example of something that Ponyboy and I share is how we are very loyal. In the book, Ponyboy follows Johnny to the church after the murder even though he could get into huge trouble if they get caught. Also, Ponyboy sticks with his friends even when they are called “greasers” and are made fun of by the socs. I have stuck with some of my friends since pre-school, and I have had no thoughts of leaving them. Also, when they are feeling disheartened, I always comfort them as much as I conceivably can. Overall, I believe that I would relate to Ponyboy the most in regards to The Outsiders because of our shared character traits of loyalty, self-consciousness and lastly how we are both book smart but not street smart.

A character from The Outsiders that I relate the most to is Ponyboy. I relate to Ponyboy the most because he likes reading, drawing, and is very imaginative. I also love reading, drawing, and am imaginative. For example, in the book in The Outsiders Ponyboy loves reading. An example in the book is when him and Johnny read Gone With the Wind. An example for me is that I just love reading and I read a lot. An example that Ponyboy likes drawing is that in some places in the book it is implied that Ponyboy likes to draw. Also if you are imaginative usually you like to draw. A reason that I like to draw is that I draw a lot. For example I doodle on papers usually. An example that Ponyboy is imaginative is that he has to sleep with his brother, Sodapop. Ponyboy has to sleep with Sodapop because Ponyboy has such an active imagination and he will have nightmares without Sodapop. Also Ponyboy is constantly daydreaming which contributes to being imaginative. I am imaginative because I daydream a lot. These are the reasons why I relate to Ponyboy the most out of all the characters in The Outsiders.

The character that I mostly compare myself to is Ponyboy from the outsiders. Ponyboy shows selflessness and loyalty. Ponyboy is loyal to Johnny by sticking by his side. I am loyal to my friends and family. Ponyboy is selfless because he would do anything to help others. He saved the little kids in the burning church putting himself at risk. I am selfless because I care about others and want the best for them. I have a creative mind like Ponyboy. I also enjoy movies and some books like him. I am creative like him because I always imagine things, or think about something before I do it. Ponyboy shows respect and kindness like me. Ponyboy cares about others as I do. Throughout the book Ponyboy shows character traits that relate to me. Ponyboy is anxious and scared in some parts of the book. He was anxious and scared in the abandoned church because he did not know what was next, or if something bad would happen. I sometimes may feel anxious before a big test. These are words that show how I am similar to Ponyboy.

Out of all the characters in The Outsiders I can relate to Johnny the most. Johnny is shy around new people and so am I also Johnny gets really nervous for everything even if he shouldn’t be and I get really nervous for stuff that I shouldn’t be nervous about. Johnny followed Ponyboy into the burning church to save some little kids, if I was in Johnny’s position I would most likely do the same thing that he did. Also Johnny is like to little brother to everyone in their gang and I am like a little sister to all of my brothers friends. Another reason is because johnny gets along with everyone and everyone likes him and in my friend group I get along with everyone and everyone likes me. That is why I can relate to Johnny the most.

The character I can mostly relate to from The Outsiders is Johnny. I can relate to Johnny because he is quiet and shy just like I am. I am shy because of my stuttering problem, so I am afraid to talk to people for the first time if I do not know them. Also, I can relate to Johnny because I am very unselfish. I am not selfish because I am grateful for the people and things I have in my life so I said to myself I do not need anything else. I share things with people all the time and do not hold back what I can give like Johnny overlooks himself to save the childrens young lives from the burning church. Most good people on our planet are the ones who are not selfish, and like I said once, do not hold back on what they can give.

In the book The Outsiders I can relate most to the character Soda Pop because he is a middle child. Technically, I am also a middle child to my older brother, Lucas, and my younger twin sister, Laney. Soda Pop gets frustrated and upset when his siblings fight. Even though my siblings rarely fight, when they do it upsets me. Just like Soda Pop said, when his siblings fight it is just like tearing them apart, and for Soda Pop to always be in the middle of every fight is difficult for him. This is how I feel being in between fights of Lucas and Laney. Soda Pop is also very fond of animals. Soda Pop once had a pet horse named Mickey Mouse. I also love animals and have had two pet dogs in my life time. My current one is named Otto. Overall, I think Soda Pop and I have multiple similarities, which is why I chose him.

The character that I feel that I can relate to the most is Darry. For example, Darry is a big leader in his group of friends. He is the person that everyone looks up to for support, and his friends and siblings feel that they can look up to him when they need help. I also feel like I am a leader when I work in groups at school. Also, leadership was my number one character trait in the character strengths test we took. Another example is that Darry isn’t necessarily the friendliest to people that he doesn’t know. He helps his friends out all the time but doesn’t always do the same for other people, like the Socs. I feel that I am also similar in this way. When it comes to helping my classmates, or friends or family, I almost always make sure to help out in whatever way I can. On the other hand, when it’s a stranger that I don’t know, I’m not nearly as willing to help them out. In conclusion, I am most similar to Darry from The Outsiders.

In the book The Outsiders I think i’m most like Ponyboy. I think this because, between me and and my friends I’m the only one who really likes to draw, and Pony is the one of the only greasers that like to read and watch movies. A second reason why I’m like Ponyboy is, Ponyboy and the greasers have their “team” and the Socs have theirs. Most of my friends and I have been friends for 5 years at least, and like Ponyboy He has been a greaser with his pals for most of his life. One last reason Ponyboy is similar to me is because he is a really creative person. I like to consider myself creative too because My favorite thing to do is to make things myself.

The character in The Outsiders that I can relate to most is Ponyboy. Ponyboy doesn’t like to fight. I don’t like fights either. For example, Ponyboy had many opportunities to start a fight, however he never did because he generally doesn’t like to participate in fights unless he has to. I also try to avoid both physical and verbal fights. For example, at my old school, there was this one kid who yelled at another kid whenever he did something annoying, and every time he yelled, I wanted to tell him to stop because the kid he was yelling at was my friend. I never did tell him to stop because I didn’t want to get in a fight with him, since he was also my friend. Secondly, I also like to read books, like Ponyboy, and sometimes I just can’t put one down. Books are one of the few things that relax me. These are just a few ways I can relate to Ponyboy.

I think I could relate to Randy because he doesn’t like to fight and he is a little peaceful. I am also peaceful and do not like fighting like Randy. I hate when people fight just the violence part and the way people get hurt and sometimes can’t recover from it. Randy used to fight but I didn’t really fight unless it’s with my brothers for a very stupid reason which I’m sure everyone does if they have a sibling. Evidence from the Outsiders, Randy didn’t want to participate in the rumble because he didn’t feel like fighting in the rumble this time. Randy doesn’t like fighting and tells Ponyboy he doesn’t want to participate. I saw a fighting movie once and a lot of people got hurt and they never were able to recover. They could have even died if it was to where the people were fighting to the death, kind of like the rumble.

I think I can relate to Cherry because she is sassy and careful for what other people do. I can be a little sassy to other people especially to my brother and cousins. I am very careful around my neighborhood because there are cats, skunks, deers and a wolf. Especially during the dark. Evidence is that Cherry was very sassy to Dally to make him not talk to her. She is very careful about Bob. When he drinks and get drunk she tries to get away from him. So that is why she tries to get to know more about him and Johnny. She doesn’t like about how Socs and greasers try to fight all the time. Me too, I don’t like that either. I feel bad for her that she has to go through this type of condition. I am sure our school have arguments not physical fighting but it can be for really dumb reasons like the Soc’s and the greasers. This is the reasons why I think I am more like Cherry.

The character I can relate to the most in The Outsiders of the characters listed would be Johnny. I chose this character because I think we have some similarities such as we both defend our friends, and we are both loyal to the ones we are close to. Other similarities I think we have in common is that we both have dark hair and are short. We both defend our friends by sticking up for them when they need it or need help. I am easy to talk to, like Johnny. For example, my friends tell me secrets and I will keep them. Another example that I am easy to talk to would be that people tell me things and I do not complain about what they are talking about. Like Johnny, I am short and I have dark hair. And even though I am short like Johnny, I can still make a big difference in the world.Ultimately this evidence shows that I am like Johnny in some ways.

The Character I most relate to is Cherry Valance. She doesn't let anyone push her around and she stands her ground. She can also be Fiery at times too. I too, can become fiery when someone is trying tell me what to do. Also, Bob is mad when he finds out that Cherry Valance has been hanging around with Ponyboy and tells her she should not hang out with him. I experienced something like this before when someone told me I shouldn't hang out with a certain person. Another trait me and her share is that when we choose to, we can be nice (as shocking as it is). Also after Johnny killed Bob Cherry was mad at him, but after she tried to become friends with him again. Once me and my friend had gotten into a fight and we didn't speak to each other for over 3 weeks, finally I decided to talk about our problems and become friends again. In conclusion, the character I most relate to is Cherry Valance.

I think that the character in The Outsiders I most relate to is Ponyboy. I believe this because he would do anything for his family and friends like in the part of the book where Ponyboy did the rumble for Johnny even though Johnny could not see it which gives him a scene of humility. I do this for my family whether they are sick or just sad I try to help even if I cannot do much. Another reason I think I relate to Ponyboy the most is because he doesn’t care about labels for example when Ponyboy was talking to cherry he did not care that she was a soc. and he was a greaser which gives him a sense of empathy. I do this to I have many different Types of friends. In conclusion I feel like out of all the characters in The Outsiders I most relate to Ponyboy.

I think I am mostly like cherry, second PonyBoy, and third Johnny. I think I am like cherry because I hate fights most of the time, sometimes I’m okay with it but mostly I think that their just useless. I also care about people love and Stay angry with whoever I get angry at just like when Cherry got mad at Dally and didn’t accept the coke. I think I am also like PonyBoy because I am willing to help my friends and I would help others in need. I also think I am like PonyBoy because I love to read at times If I’m really into the book I’m reading. Lastly I think I am like Johnny because if my friend was being hurt I would try to help. I am also shy sometimes and don't speak up when I’m scared but I try to. This is why I think I am like these 3 characters.

I can relate to Johnny the most. In the book, Johnny is very quiet and shy. I am also quiet and shy. When Ponyboy and Johnny were talking to Cherry and Marcia, Johnny would rarely talk, and was nervous. When I meet new people I am quiet and shy, and let everyone around me do most of the talking. When Johnny got to know Cherry and Marcia he became comfortable around them and started to talk more. It takes me awhile to warm up to people before I feel comfortable enough to talk.

Out of all of The Outsiders characters, I relate the most to Ponyboy Curtis. I relate to Ponyboy because I like to read a lot just like he does. Also I relate to him because I am very creative. I think sunsets look really nice just like he does. Ponyboy is shy sometimes just like me. Ponyboy always loves movies and sees one whenever he can. Also we both think about the movie even after it’s over.. I am the exact same way. Also I am self conscious about myself just like ponyboy. Neither Ponyboy or I like fights and we try to be friendly rather than mean. I always try to step in if there is a fight. Me and Ponyboy both to pretty good in school.

The character I think I am most like in The Outsiders is Darry. This is because I am also the oldest. I am also a little bit overprotective of my siblings and always kind of in their business and always have to be on top of what they are doing all of the time. In the book, Ponyboy says how Darry has kind of taken the parent role in the family. In my life, my dad is always telling me to stop acting like my siblings’ parent, and try to be more of a sister (which I don’t think I listen to him in this situation anyways though). Like Darry, I also have two younger siblings. Similar to Darry, I have a hard time showing how much I care about my brother and sister, and that is still something I can work on. This is why I think I am most like Darry.
